Bag Machine Buyer FAQ
Clear answers to the questions overseas buyers commonly ask before requesting a machine proposal.
Are you a bag making machine factory?
We are an independent China-based sourcing and project coordination team, not a single-brand factory. We compare specialist manufacturers according to the pouch process, make the proposed source and commercial scope clear, and coordinate technical review, export delivery, and after-shipment communication.
Why buy through an independent China-side partner?
Different factories are strong in different converting processes. An independent review lets the buyer compare suitable sources, avoid unnecessary local dealer layers, clarify what is included in each quotation, and keep one project contact across supplier selection, testing, shipping, and handover.
What should be checked for a stand-up zipper pouch making machine?
The main checks are the laminated film structure, sealant layer, pouch dimensions, bottom-gusset construction, zipper profile and position, print repeat, web guiding, sealing-bar arrangement, punching, cutting, target speed, registration tolerance, and acceptable scrap rate.
What is the difference between a T-shirt bag machine and a laminated pouch machine?
A T-shirt bag machine converts HDPE or LDPE film into vest-style carrier bags and normally includes sealing, cutting, stacking, and handle punching. A laminated pouch machine uses a longer multi-station layout for web guiding, folding or gusset forming, zipper feeding, repeated heat sealing, punching, and cutting.
Which machine is used for plastic shopping or vest bags?
Use a T-shirt bag making machine for plastic shopping bags with two punched handles. The correct configuration depends on the film width, bag dimensions, number of production lanes, punching method, and target output.
Which machine is used for stand-up and zipper pouches?
Stand-up pouches and zipper pouches require a laminated pouch making machine. Please confirm the pouch drawing, film structure, zipper type, bottom gusset, sealing layout, punch positions, and required production speed.
What is an 8-side-seal flat-bottom pouch?
It is also called a flat-bottom or box pouch. The front, back, two side gussets, and bottom panel form a stable box-like package with multiple printable faces. The machine configuration depends on how the side and bottom gussets are fed, folded, sealed, cooled, punched, and cut.
Can an 8-side-seal pouch machine run PE mono-material film?
It can be configured for qualified PE mono-material structures, but the film cannot be approved from the material name alone. We first confirm the sealant layer, thickness, coefficient of friction, shrinkage, zipper compatibility, sealing-temperature window, cooling demand, and required speed, then arrange a material trial when necessary.
Can the machine process printed film?
Compatible machines can use photoelectric mark tracking for printed film. Final suitability depends on the material structure, print repeat, bag style, lane arrangement, and required registration accuracy.
Can the machine specification be customized?
Working width, sealing layout, zipper feeding, gusset forming, punching, folding, counting, stacking, and collection options can be configured around the finished bag and factory workflow.
What information is needed for a quotation?
Please provide clear bag photos or drawings, material structure, thickness, finished dimensions, seal positions, zipper or handle details, expected output, power standard, and destination country.
Do you support installation and operator training?
Remote commissioning guidance, operating documents, and training support can be arranged. On-site service availability is confirmed according to the destination and project scope.
How are spare parts handled?
A recommended spare-parts list can be supplied with the machine. For later service, provide the machine reference and a clear photo or part code so the correct item can be identified.
